The brief is simple: Create and design your very own LEGO Adventuring Party, You can choose between 5-9 adventurers and they can be Minifigs, Bigfigs brick-built figs, Animals as companions and mounts etc.

 

You can theme them all, building a cohesive unit  or have them be a rough and tumble crew, throw together by fate (or bad luck), just be as creative as possible!

 

Cost: We are expanding the contest a little, and including a contest tile for each participant and a trophy for the winner!

 

 This means we are asking a $2 for contest entry and as always a non-perishable food donation for the Food Bank.

 

Basic rules

 

Build Info 

Build size. 5-9 party members (mounts and companion animals aren't part of the total)

A themed base should be made to hold your entire party. (so it can be moved easily)

Think nature, Rocks, Grass, Desert etc.

 

Parts can be from any theme.

Castle, Ninjago, Nexo Knights and Chima are great sources of inspiration and ideas. The Brickyard also has a library of books covering many themes.

No named or legendary characters are permitted. So no Drizzt or Minsc, Szass Tam or Strahd and no Karlach or Shadowheart.

 

If you aren't familiar with DnD, There is a ton of media out there

'Honor among Thieves' is a solid movie to give you a taste of the world, and is the most family-friendly of the bunch.

Vox Machina is on Amazon and while much more adult, is well animated and made by the wonderful folks at Critical Role.

There is also Baldur's Gate 3 on most modern gaming systems. It won Game of the Year so is worth a look.
